Keeley received a certificate at the whole-school assembly on Friday. She earned it for her fantastic effort and learning in Maths this year.

Last Friday, Room 8 won the Assembly Award at our whole-school assembly.
Here we are with the trophy.

Enviro Day 8 - Planting, Feeding & Fun

Today Room 8 were Enviro Warriors! We replanted 160 seedlings, watered with worm tea, learnt about Ruru & created recycled art. It was a super fun saving the Earth day.

Maths

In Maths, we have been learning about measuring and what the perimeter of a shape is.
In groups, we used meter rulers to find the perimeter of Tree Island, Room 11 and the Junior Playground.

The World Of Science

Today we used the magic of science to do a trick. With our buddies, we were able to pick up some ice using a piece of string, some water, and salt. We were not allowed to use our hands.

Buddy Sports

On Friday, Room 8 and our Buddy Class worked together playing some fun games.
It was a glorious, sunny day. We had lots of fun.
